There is more to transformation than fixing what is wrong

We are often taught to look at human experience through the lens of problems. Anxiety. Low confidence. Trauma. Patterns of behaviour. Symptoms. And then we are taught to find the thing that will make them go away.

Sacred Alchemy begins somewhere different. It asks: what if we became curious about what lies beneath the surface? What is the story being lived? What patterns are repeating? What is the psyche trying to bring into consciousness? What might the Shadow have to show us? What happens when we listen differently?

This is not about imposing meaning onto another person's experience. It is about developing the capacity to be curious enough to discover it.

What is Sacred Alchemy?

Sacred Alchemy is an integrative approach to personal and practitioner development. It draws upon:

Hypnosis

Working with trance, unconscious processes and the two minds.

NLP & Language

Exploring the relationship between language, perception and experience.

Jungian Depth Psychology

Entering the territory of psyche, Shadow, projection, myth and individuation.

Shamanic Practice

Exploring consciousness, cosmology, symbolism, intuition and relationship with the more-than-ordinary.

These aren't taught as four separate subjects. They are brought together into a way of seeing and working.

The Foundation Journey

The course takes you through five interconnected stages.

01 Welcome & Orientation

Begin by understanding the territory you're entering, how the course works and the stance that underpins Sacred Alchemy.

02 Foundations of Sacred Alchemy

Explore hypnosis, trance, the two minds, meditation and personal myth.

03  Language & Cosmology

Enter the world of NLP, Meta Model distinctions, Ericksonian language, shamanic cosmology, consciousness and intuition.

04 The Structure of the Psyche

Explore Jungian psychology, the Shadow, projection, Socratic questioning and the deeper dynamics of working with another person.

05 Integration & Practical Application

Bring the learning together through personal practice, holding space, spiritual practice and the application of Sacred Alchemy in everyday life.

The Sacred Alchemy
Practitioner Stance

This is at the heart of the training. A Sacred Alchemy practitioner does not assume the meaning of what a person presents with. They become curious about its function. We don't need to immediately decide what something means. We don't need to turn every experience into a diagnosis. We don't need to fix what makes us uncomfortable. Instead, we learn to listen. To language. To metaphor. To patterns. To what is spoken, and what isn't.And perhaps most importantly: we learn to work on ourselves as we learn to work with others.

This course is for you if...

You are drawn to working with people at a deeper level.

You may already be a therapist, coach, healer, hypnotherapist, practitioner or spiritual worker. Or perhaps you are simply fascinated by the human psyche and want to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and others.

You may be looking for:

  • A deeper understanding of hypnosis and trance
  • Practical NLP and language skills
  • An introduction to Jungian depth psychology
  • An exploration of shamanic practice and cosmology
  • Ways of understanding personal myth and Shadow
  • A more nuanced approach to working with people
  • A framework that allows psychological and spiritual perspectives to sit alongside one another.

You don't need to arrive with all the answers. Curiosity is enough to begin.

Meet Alexia

The woman behind Sacred Alchemy.

I've spent more than two decades exploring the meeting place between psychology, hypnosis, spirituality and human transformation.

Sacred Alchemy grew out of that exploration. It isn't a system I discovered in a textbook and decided to package into a course. It has evolved through years of practice, study, teaching, questioning, making mistakes, learning, and remaining fascinated by the extraordinary complexity of being human.

My approach has always been less interested in telling people who they should be and more interested in helping them discover what is already moving within them.

That is the spirit in which I created Sacred Alchemy.

FAQs

Does Foundation give me GHR accreditation?

Not on its own. Foundation is the required first stage of the GHR-accredited pathway. Full GHR registration is achieved once you have also completed Advanced Sacred Alchemy.

What's the difference between Self-Study and Guided?

Self-Study gives you the full recorded course to work through at your own pace. Guided includes everything in Self-Study plus live Zoom teaching, discussion, structured completion requirements and a Certificate of Completion.

Can I move from Self-Study to Guided later?

[Still needs a real answer from Alexia - confirm whether the self-study-to-live discount still applies.]

Is there a payment plan?

Yes, a payment plan is available for the Guided Practitioner Training.

When does the next cohort start?

[Needs a real date - this sits right next to the enrol button, so an empty date here is the one most likely to cost a ready buyer.]

Ready to begin?

  1. There is no particular kind of person you need to become before beginning this work. You simply need a willingness to look a little deeper. To question what you think you know. To become curious about what lies beneath the obvious. And to enter the work.
